  Festina_Lente's review is cruel and wrong. My family went to LSCC for some time after my parents nearly got divorced, and Pastor Nate and the rest of the leadership at LSCC were instrumental in helping them heal their relationship and grow back to the Lord. I was baptized there, and they taught me about the importance of deeply loving God.
  
  We have all since moved on, as their theology isn't sound, and I've heard the church is in some decline, particularly their child and youth ministries, but the Pyles are a sincere and loving family, and while I don't agree with their theology, there is no excuse for personal insults.
  
  While I wouldn't recommend this church, due to the theological problems, I will always be grateful to Pastor Nate and his family for the help they gave my family.

  This church reminded me of the infamous Jim Jones cult. Beware at all costs!!! The daughters and wife of the pastor have this spacey hollow look in their eyes similar to the brides of Dracula. There is something very Un-Christian about them.

  We were very active in this church several years ago. Although we have moved on to a more traditional church, I would still recommend Lake Shafer Christian Center to anyone who is looking for a lively contemporary Pentecostal church. The congregation was very loving and supportive to both young and old, and we found many opportunities to actively learn, grow, and serve. Our family grew immensely in the years we spent there.
